About the Role

The Global Head of Compensation, Benefits & HR Strategy (m/f/d) is a senior leadership role, reporting directly to the Corporate HR Director, within a worldwide organization, responsible for designing, implementing, and managing the company's global compensation and benefits strategy. This position ensures that the organization attracts, retains, and motivates top talent while maintaining equity, competitiveness, and compliance with local and international regulations. The role includes shaping global guidelines, establishing job grading and leveling frameworks, and driving alignment across regions and business units.

In this position you take over the leadership and oversight the Centers of Competence (CoCs: People & Development, Internal Communication, TA & Employer Branding, Global Mobility), continuity in strategic direction, operational excellence, and team support.


What you will do

As the Global Head of Compensation, Benefits & HR Strategy, you will:

  • Provide Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute a forward-thinking global compensation and benefits strategy that aligns with our business objectives and supports a high-performance culture.
  • Lead a High-Impact Team: Direct and mentor your team member to ensure they are empowered, engaged, and equipped to drive success.
  • Shape Global Guidelines: Establish clear, transparent compensation and benefits policies, balancing global consistency with local flexibility and compliance.
  • Implement Job Grading & Leveling: Lead the design and rollout of a unified framework to ensure fair and consistent evaluation of roles across the organization.
  • Manage Global Compensation: Oversee salary structures, annual reviews, incentive programs, and pay equity initiatives to maintain competitiveness and fairness.
  • Optimize Benefits: Design and manage global and regional benefits programs that enhance employee well-being and strengthen our employer value proposition.
  • Collaborate Across Borders: Partner with regional HR leaders, finance teams, and executives to implement strategies effectively and align diverse stakeholders.
  • Leverage Data-Driven Insights: Use analytics and benchmarking to evaluate program effectiveness and make strategic recommendations.

What you’ll need to succeed

  • Leadership Experience: 7+ years in compensation and benefits, including experience managing and mentoring team members.
  • Strategic Expertise: Proven success in implementing job grading frameworks and global C&B strategies.
  • Empowering Leadership: A hands-on approach to developing and supporting team members to achieve their full potential.
  • Global Mindset: Strong understanding of multi-country regulations, cultural nuances, and market trends.
  • Analytical Skills: Proficiency in HRIS and compensation tools, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
