The Position

As a Senior Manager in Corporate Controlling Group Functions, you will play a key role in delivering financial solutions and steering support for the global Functions HR and Corporate Affairs. You will be a driving force in managing costs and offering financial data insights, all while simplifying complex global data and processes in a dynamic work environment. You deliver to win.


Tasks & responsibilities

  • As Senior Manager in Controlling, you'll be responsible for ensuring high-quality Finance deliverables in Planning and Reporting where you master the ability to translate complex business cases into understandable financial models, insights and actions.
  • You will act as a guide, supporting the functional Leadership Team in the development of financial targets and long-term goals, that these are clearly communicated to the Functions, stringently implemented and managed on a global scale. Herby, you also use your solid internal controlling network to the countries.
  • A key part of your role will be to plan and control costs. You are using benchmarks and cross-industry insights to create critically reviewed financial plans, closely monitoring cost development, providing clear analytics to Business Partners and local controllers, and developing financial actions to ensure adherence to targets. Candidly addressing deviations are part of your governance role as is collaborating to find and implement financial solutions as well as driving value.
  • You provide conceptual leadership in the controlling area and drive the development and implementation of concepts and governance frameworks as well as continuous improvement.
  • In your role, you will ensure financial compliance in business partner activities, support internal and external audits and prepare documentation of processes.

Requirements

  • Diploma Degree or master's degree (e.g. MBA, MSc) with major focus on Business Administration and/or Economics
  • At least multiple years of solid experience in key Controlling positions with the ability to deliver on local and global controlling roles and deliverables
  • Proven performance approach and hands on attitude combined with a critical and challenging mindset to be effective and efficient in the interaction with the business partners in an international environment
  • Entrepreneurial spirit with proactive and team-oriented approach and working with senior leadership in an international setting showing resilience also under challenging circumstances
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to act as a Finance Business Partner and explain finance topics to non-finance colleagues as well as going into details with local controllers in country organizations on finance cases
  • Demonstrated project leadership skills, coupled with concise reporting abilities including briefings and statements
  • Proficient in Business Case creation and usage of analytic software, with strong analytical thinking
  • High proficiency in English (read, write and speak) is mandatory
  • >50% office presence and mobility for business travel
