Responsibilities
- You build it, you run it: Design and build new features as part of your engineering team ensuring accountability and ownership throughout the process.
- Challenge, maintain and nurture existing features in close collaboration with Product, Business and Design
- Work on cutting-edge modern technologies while contributing to a dynamic, forward-thinking organization, identify technical debts and seek sustainable solutions.
- Support the optimization of our coding processes and push the boundaries of our toolset and architecture
- Mentor less experienced colleagues and actively help drive the team towards our technical vision
Qualifications
- Experience with Java Spring Boot web applications
- Good understanding of microservices architecture (e.g., event sourcing) and messaging brokers (e.g., Kafka)
- Basic understanding of cloud technologies (e.g., AWS, Kubernetes)
- A good understanding of modern engineering processes and agile methodologies
- Strong believer and practitioner in high code quality and tech standards
- Fluent English paired with efficient and effective communication
- You can represent your team's interests adequately and feel comfortable taking initiatives
