We work with experienced local partners who recruit and train candidates in their home countries, including the Philippines, China, Costa Rica, and Tunisia. Since December 2022, CWC has officially been part of the MIMS Group, headquartered in Singapore. MIMS operates in 17 countries with 2.7 million healthcare professionals using its services, including staffing solutions.
We are currently seeking a motivated working student student to join and support our product and engineering team and able to dedicate at 20 hours/ week.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to creating a simpler, more user-friendly experience for candidates and clients using our platform.
- Look out and improve the visual and textual consistency of our web sites
- Perform manual and exploratory testing to ensure the quality of both frontend and backend changes to our applications and services.
- Support the team in designing, maintaining, and enhancing test automation scenarios where possible.
- Conduct continuous quality control and disruptive testing, focusing on different aspects of the CWC platform experience from the perspective of various stakeholders (Candidates, Employers, Partners, and CWC Operations).
- Actively report and track bugs and test all tickets in each upcoming release.
- Develop and follow a structured testing plan for new, major features, keeping a detailed understanding of platform changes and testing needs.
- Participate in key product-engineering meetings (requirements reviews, stand-ups, release planning, check-outs) to stay aligned on development progress.
- Collaborate closely with developers and cross-functional teams, including Marketing, Product Management, and Operations.
- Suggest ideas to improve our user experience and design and assist with product management projects such as market research, benchmarking, and metrics reporting.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled and pursuing a university degree, with a strong affinity for technology and offering exposure to relevant tools or concepts.
- Excellent communication, prioritization and organizational skills as you will be working consistently with internal stakeholders
- Great attention to detail and an analytical mindset.
- Excellent problem-solving mindset and demonstrate quick learning ability.
- Ability to work independently and effectively manage projects.
- Fluency in English (C1 - spoken and written)
Bonus points if:
- You can speak some German and/or Spanish
- Bring a basic understanding of modern web technologies and APIs.
- Have any touchpoints with automation - alternatively, we would expect a willingness to acquire and improve your coding skills by implementing scripts for automation.
- Are familiar with UX Design, Web Development, Product Management, Consumer Insights and Data Analysis, or Customer Success/Service.
