About our Ecommerce Management Team: We help our clients expand their business and geographic scope with guidance and implementation across digital advertising and retail, optimizing conversion on all major platforms. Our Performance Marketing team is currently looking for a motivated Senior Performance Marketing Manager – Retail Media Advertising / Omnichannel (f/m/d) to support our clients to grow their online business. The position is full-time and in Hamburg. Hybrid role: 2 days in office per week

Responsibilities

  • You will develop and implement comprehensive performance marketing strategies with a primary focus on retail media channels 
  • You will manage and optimize campaigns across various retail media networks (e.g., Amazon Advertising, Walmart Connect, OTTO, eBay Promoted Listings etc.) and software providers (e.g. Criteo, Mabaya, CitrusAd, Microsoft Retail Media, Skai) to drive traffic, sales, and ROI 
  • You will analyze campaign performance data, generate insights, and make data-driven decisions to improve effectiveness and efficiency 
  • You will collaborate with cross-functional teams including sales, product, and analytics to align marketing strategies with business objectives 
  • You will monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry best practices to stay ahead in the retail media landscape 
  • You are driving innovations and lead the bi-weekly internal retail media meeting in which current challenges in the retail media sector are discussed and solved 
  • You take over the quality assurance of our campaigns and ensure that we maintain the highest quality across all different retail media tool providers 
  • You will develop and maintain strong relationships with retailers and tool providers to ensure seamless execution of marketing campaigns 
  • You will prepare and present regular performance reports, highlighting key metrics and insights to stakeholders 
  • You will mentor and guide junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement 

Qualifications

  • You have a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus 
  • You have a minimum of 4 years of experience in performance marketing, with at least 2 years focused on retail media advertising (e.g. Sponsored ads or Display ads on retailer’s websites) - experience with Amazon Advertising, Criteo, CitrusAd, Walmart, eBay, OTTO or The Trade Desk is highly beneficial 
  • You are a self-motivated person, eager to learn and to expand your own know-how daily  
  • You have a proven track record of managing successful retail media campaigns with significant ROI 
  • You have strong analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Excel, etc.) 
  • You have an excellent understanding of retail media platforms and tools 
  • You have exceptional communication and interpersonal skills 
  • You enjoy working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously 
  • You have experience with e-commerce and the retail industry (highly desirable) 
  • You possess very good written and verbal communication skills in English - a second language such as German or French is beneficial
