Computer Science Teacher (ICT)
Responsibilities
- You will design vivid and competence-oriented Computer Science lessons based on the curriculum, with room for logical thinking, creativity and individual learning paths
- You will regularly reflect on learning processes and make targeted use of modern pedagogical approaches to inspire students to take an interest in computer science and problem solving
- You actively contribute new ideas and concepts, make meaningful use of digital media and continuously develop your teaching methods
- You support students and parents with openness, empathy and an eye for individual strengths and challenges
- You see further education and training as an opportunity to develop your professional and pedagogical skills and to bring new ideas to the teaching staff
Qualifications
- Certified training as a Secondary teacher with a Bachelor’s or a Master’s degree in Computer Science, a Certificate of Education and a QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
- Experience working in a Secondary school setting, ideally with teaching and lesson planning experience
- English at C2 level and ideally a good command of German for everyday use
- Interest and willingness to engage in the development of new educational concepts
- Passion for your subject and the ability to inspire your students to enjoy it too
