The Engineering Manager for Screening & Risk Services will lead the development and maintenance of Bitpanda's back-end risk infrastructure. This role involves defining technical roadmaps, leading and growing a team, and collaborating with stakeholders to ensure risk-detection logic remains effective and aligned with regulatory requirements.

Lead the development of Bitpanda's DeFi Wallet, a smart, non-custodial wallet for seamless and secure access to the decentralized world. Manage a team of 8 across web, mobile, backend, and blockchain domains. Define and deliver the wallet's technical roadmap, including account abstraction, secure key management, cross-chain interoperability, and dApp integrations. Collaborate with Product, Design, and Security to translate vision into scalable, compliant, and elegant technical solutions. Stay current on DeFi, smart contract standards, and new blockchain protocols.

Design and develop software for a simulation software in C++. Evolve framework architecture in middleware and real-time applications. Apply state-of-the-art technologies and contribute to virtual engineering.
